Mr Fisher's Accusations.
Piblic Inquiry Still Demanded
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 1. Mr Taylor gave notice this afternoon to ask the Premier "whether he will grant a fuil public enquiry into the matter of the alleged payment to R. J. S. Seddon of a certain sum of money, as prayed for by Messrs Larcombe, West and Willis, who, after reading the Auditor-Gen-eral's report, re-aflirm. their conviction that such payment was made, especially in view of the tact that Department enquiry recently held was granted instantly upon the petition of the Treasury officials being prewnted. Also whether the Premier will re-consider his determination to punish the post office officers named in view of the fact that they (Tame out into the open and gave their evidence without indemnity at the invitation of the Premier and the House."
