SYDNEY. Aug. 31. AI tin- Lands Commission evidence •.riven in connection with u batch ot lenses in the Itathurst district disclosed tltut all for which Willis was agent were rushed through as the result of pressing action on the pari of the (.'nder-Secretary for Lands. They were contained in a special gazette prepared after midnight on a day when land matters were not usually published.
The (lovenunent Printer gave evidence that he had demanded executive authority before he published the Gazette, because so many unusual things had been done about that time.
