Miss W. Thomson, who is retiring from her post as assistant in the Taranaki Education Board's office for the reason that she is about to enter into wedlock, was on Wednesday afternopn the jecipiejit pi a pfeseii-' tation by tlie members of tjie' Board and staft, to mark their appreciation of her efficient services during her association with the Board. The presentation, whiph tppk the foi'U) qf a handsome silver reversible entree dish suitably inscribed to commemorate the occasion, was made by the Chairman of the Board (Mr Jas. Wade), who felicitously voiced the esteem'in which Miss Thomson was held, and concluded by wishing her all happiness and prosperity in the future. A pretty 'but quiet wedding was 'solemnised at St. Mary's 011 Wcdnesday morning, the contracting parties being Mr F. H, Warren, of Fiji, and Mjss Mahjii, fourth (laughter ot Mr'J. C. George, of New Plymouth. The officiating minister was the Rev. F. G. Kvans, Rural Dean.
