Deportation of Kanakas

MELBOURNE Aug. 2». The rccu.i decision in Canada has raised the question whether the Commonwealth can deport Kanakas beyond its territorial limits. The High Court of Ontario holds there is no power to enforce legislation beyond the boundaries of tlie country. The Prime Minister awaits.an official report before expressing an opinion.
