HOUSE OF 'REPRESENTATIVES. The House met ati 2.30 p.m. The whole afternoon sitting was devoted to the consideration of to cal Hills. The House resumed at 7.30.

I'urth i' consideration was given to local Hills on the Order Paper, after which the Electoral Hill was resumed in committee. At clause 99 a motion to excise the subsection which prevents a returning otter receiving the nomination of a woman for a scat in the llousc, was lost by -18 votes to 23.
