At the iiiiuesit the Jury returned a verdict "that he met his death by a fill frcm his horse while in a .state :>f intoxication."

He had teen visited ih the cell several times dur'ng the nigfcit, and prior to his being seized with a fit about one a.m., there was no indication that ha had been injured seriously by the fall from his horse.
