A man named Kobert Bray met with a shocking death recently at Hamilton Creek, near Mount Morgan (Q.) He felled a tree, which rested in the lork of another, and was prizing the tree oil the stump, when it suddenly sprang back and pinned him by the hips to a large rock. The unfortunate man was held there ior some hours, until he was discovered by Mr Hatch, his employer. With wonderful fortitude Bray gave directions to Mr Hatch how to release him, but Hatch had to cut through the tree to do it, and Bray died five minutes after hia lelcase.
