In the afternoon ja. bogey mateh was played, when there was keen play, ana the golf displayed was of really a high order. The winner was tars tt. N. Johnston (Hutt), who, with a hpdieap of 6, tied with bogey. Mrs r- Bidwoll (Wairarapa), with a handcap of 2, was a close second, being only 1 down on bogey. Miss Stevenson (New Plymouth) was eighth, with ra handicap ©f 10, S down.
