THE DUNEDIN TRAM FATALITY.
The Inquest(Per Press Association) DUNEDIN, Aug. 21. An inquiry was held to-day into the circumstances connected with the death of Jas. Green, who was thrown out of a buggy through the vehicle being struck by a tramcar. The accident happened on the 3rd inst., and) Green appeared to be getting on well till the 7th, when erysipelas appeared. The cause of death was erysipelas, complicated by Bright's disease. The evidence showed that the horso deceased was driving bad cast a shoe, and deceased was picking out the best part of the road and was driving on
- the wrong side. When the car was , close up deceased attempted to cross to the right side, and the ear struck the hind wheel of his buggy. The jury returned a verdict of accidental death, no blame being attachable to anyone.
