—.—oReciprocal Preference Urged. (Received Aug. 18, 9.54 p.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 18. The National Convention at Chitago, representing some two hundred industrial and commercial associations, urged Congress to adopt a dual tariff of low duties on goods from nations favouring the United States, and of high' duties on those from countries discriminating against the United States. The convention recommended the formation of an American Reciprocal Tariff League.
