Keran Breaks a World's Record

LONDON, Aug. 13. Keran, the Australian swimmer, won the 100 yards at the International meeting at Stockholm in -70 2-5 sec. (Received Aug. 14, 10.21 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, Aug. 13. Keran created a world's record at Stockholm, leading throughout and winning the 500 metres (546 yards) race, in Vmin 18 2-ssec. He also won the mile in 28min 2 l-sscc.
