It; Should it belumsed? Ir Seddon to Explain(Received Aug. 10, 8.43 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Aug. 10. Id the House Mr Kelly called attention to Admiral Fansbawe's statement at Brisbane in reference to defence, alao to Mr Seddon's disposition to increase the New Zealand Mte'idy to the navy. He asked, Would the Minister for Defence ask Mr Seddon what bis reasons were for proposing such a course ? The Minister promised to consult Mr Deakin.
