ArnoldForster, Secretary of State for War. and Carl Meyer, who stated that General Butlcr'n committee confused hfcnf trfth ,H. O. Meyer. He never had a shilling's -worth of interest in Um contract.

Lord Srilner, examined, said that General Butler's committee suggest*-* the policy of handing over to the Repatriation Department tho whole of the surplus stock at a joint valuation. This, however, was perfectly impracticable.
