District Judge Haselden was occupied till late last night .hearing a. case in which ;Enjma Espiner, a married woman, sued Joseph Bloomfield, farmSr, for £2OO, damages for slander. Plaintiff, who was living apart from her husband, took a. milking contract from Bloomfield, and, with; four sons and two daughters, lived in a cottage on defendant's properly, also keeping as a boarder a man for-' merly employed on her husband's term.
