Protecting Aistralit (Received Aug. 3, 1.51 a.m.) LONDON. Aug. 2. At the instance of Mr Travencr, Agent-General for New South Wales, ■the Agents-General wrote to Mr Austen Chamberlain, Chancellor the Exchequer, thanking him for calling attcntior to the frauds in connection with British manufactured wine which are a serious menace to the Australian wine industry. Mr Chamberlain replied that he had introduced a clause dealing with the question into the Revenue Bin now before Parliament.
