Tm> best three scoivs were : Scott, 80, 8, 72; R. A. «ray, «fi. 13. 7:1; II- 11. Ward, 71, scr. 7-1. Fourteen others competed. Entries for the President'?! mixed foursomes close tiwl.iy nt 4 p.m., with Mr C. Wright. On Saturday n mixer) foursome hoRe.v handicap will be play ml f o r two clubs, kindly presented l>y F. G. Hood, ol Auckland. Entries close with Mr Hauiik; at 4 p.m. on Friday. The committee decided that all future matched wII lie over 18 holes. The Ladles' Handicap for Mrs Morrison's prize was won by Mrs C. 11. Weston, and Mrs Hutcfiison'r* prize by Miss Effie "Rundlc. SRss Stophctison will probably represent the local club at Ihe New Zealand Ladies' Championship meetin* in Hawke's H-iy ju Awpust. To-day the ladies wlli play n match against "Colonel Honey," !>' holes.
