Crocker, ncr of Devon and Eliot Streets, CENTRAL WARD. Town Hall, King Street, The residence of Mr G.A. Cortocy, corner of Devon and Jit. The Council proposes to pledge as security for the loan of £SOOO nnd the interest thereon a special raite of one penny half-penny (ljd) in the £ on the rateable value l|on tho basis of the annual value) of all rateable property within the Horough and its revenues, rents, tolls, issues and profits, with the exception of nil lands taken, acqjuircd, or used for a (public abattoir, and all buildings, erections, structures and ] appurtenances now or hereafter thereto belonging, and the revenues, rents, tolls nnd profits therefrom, and alsa excepting moneys received or receivable by way of grant from the Government.
