Crocker, ncr of Devon and Eliot Streets, CENTRAL WARD. Town Hall, King Street, The residence of Mr G.A. Cortocy, corner of Devon and Jit. Bdgscumbo Streets, ■ on WEDNESDAY, the Second Day of August, 1005, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., upon the following proposals of the Council, namely, To borrow by way of special loans tho sums of £SOOO and £7OOO respectively at a rato of interest not exceeding; £5 i>er centum per annum, with a sinking fund of j per cent, additional, tho louns to be repayable on a period ending tho first day of October, 1922* and to be for the following purposes;— £SOOO to lay out a new street between Gill Street and St. Aubyn Street in tho Uarough of New Plymouth, to acijuire J« connection with laying out of such street such lands and appurtenances as may be required, to pay compensation ti any person injuriously affected, to construct a W* bridgo and approaches thereto, and such street formation, channelling, and metalling as may bje required for the laying out of such street, and to effect ,any other works incidental to or in relation to any of the a&ovo I purposes.. £7OOO to pay liabilities already in. curred and to complete the additions and extensions to the Water- ' works, to pay liabilities already incurred and to complete the work of lighting the streets and public places of the Borough with electricity ; and the) supply of electricity ; n nd to carry out anj other works incidental to or in relation to nety of the above purposes.
