It was decided to represent to the Department that the settlers in the tipper end of the Jlangorei district ore willing to be rated >it {d in tho £ to provide interest anil siuking fund on a loan of £.j(Kl for the purpose, and, further, would agree to tho expenditure on the work being in Ijie hands .of the Government.
