(Received July 21, 0.55 a.m.) ADELAIDE, July 2". Parliament opened to-day. The Governor's Speech referred to the bright prospects of the Stale and the substantial improvement of finances. Mr Price, Leader of the Opposition, moved a "sudden death" motion for adjournment,, and the Government was defeated by votes to 17. I'rior to the motion the Premier announced lie would not accept "sudden death" motions, bu". would meet the House from day to day. So long as the Opposition rnoved such motions he refused to discuss the Ministerial policy.
