In reply to questions the Premier wtated that tor months past public notice -has been given of the intention ol the Government to extend school buildings, improve technical education, and increase the salaries of teachers. An opportunity would too given to Parliament this session for considering tin? granting of increased salaries to teachers. The question of increasing the salaries of masters of primary schools having district high schools attached deserved consideration.
