Fearful Mining Disaster.

135 HEN KILLED. (Received July 12. 11.31 p.m.) LONDON, July 12. Ad explosion in No. 2 pit at the United National Collieries, Wattstown, Glamorganshire, killed 123. Two of those rescued also succumbed. Eight hundred workers in the ' No. 1 pit were rescued uninjured, though even here the effect of the explosion damaged the guide-ropes and delayed the rescuers from proceeding to No. 2, Which was found to be filled with ioul air. Seventy bodies have been reentered, including that ol the manager, Mr Meteditfc.
