PERSONAL NOTES.
We are pleased to learn Mr K. M. Smith, M.H'.R., h making satisfactory improvement, and there is at present every prospect of a comparatively early I recovery. Mr A. Mucdonald, advance representative of the- IH'iek Family of musicians, arrived in town by mail traf'.n on Wednesday night to make arrangements for the appearance of this tulented troupe at the Theajtre Royal on Wcdnesduy, July The family have done good business .all through their southern torn*. They leave for the South Sea Islands* on July 12. Dr. and Mrs Ton* leave for Dannovirke on Kri'dfcy morning. The doctor \v,;il commence his mission at that centre on Sunday.
