GERMAN SOLDIERS IMPEACHHD. (Received June 28, 10.40 p.m.) BERLIN, June 28. Herr Kunert, a Socialist member of the Reichstag, has been sentenced to three montns' imprisonment for delivering a speech declaring the last German Asiatic brigade, during the Boxer troubles, devastated the land, plundered the' inhabitants, and violated women. Members of the brigade testified to the soldiers pillaging, desecrating graves and temples, and outraging women, and to officers looting. (Received June 29, 0.16 a.m.) Ik BERLIN, June 18. Iter Kunert was sentenced on the Wf ground that he libelled the whole ■ army, the Court holding that the r: \ outrages mentioned in the evidence . were bound to occur during time of warfare.
