AUSTRALIA v.. WAKWIUK.SHIIUS, LONDON, Juue 27. The weather is fine and the wicket good. Noble and Darling immediately got to work. Fifty appeared to Noble's credit at the end ot two hours. The Australian captain had batted two hours and twenty minutes, and gave only ono chance. Five for 272. Noble, whose total stood at 90, had completed his 1000 runs this season. Noble added a dozen, and then his faultless innings ot three hours aud forty minutes was brought to a close. Six for 317. 1 Cotter, the twenty minutes ho wan at the wicket, played vigorous cricket. Howell was stumped, the innings closing for 360. After lunch all the batsmen tried hitting. Heavy raiu prevented Warwick starting their second innings, and stumps were drawn.
