Wright, electrical instructor at the Thames School oil Minos, who received injuries to liin hand while carrying out experiments with the JX-my'H, amputation was considered necessary, and the left hand wo a removed at the wrist. Mr WrigWt is K°i«g Homo for further medical treatment, but would have been physically unable to maffo the voyago without nmputiition, owing to tho pain taking such mvages on his constitution. The case is attracting considerable atr tention in Uie mccMqal profession.
