Dr. II: Hording has resigned'his position as representative of the lnglcwooci Borough Council on the Taranaki Hospital Board.- Khe .resignation was accepted at Monday's meetj ing of the Hoard, and the Inglcwood | Council' asked to fill the vacancy.
I Mr A. S. Hiss, of Wellington, lius found it necessary to send in bin m- ' signation as searctary of the New Zealand Farmers'' Dairy I'nion,owing to his other business engagements.. Mr Hiss had held the ollice for eight years, during which time the turnover of the union haid increased livefold. The annual meeting of the union is to be held at Palmciston North this week. The Hons. A. Lee Smith (Dunedin) and J. M. Twomey (Tomuka) oeas«d to be iM'niljert' of the Legislative Council 011 .Saturday.
