Dr. Torr's Mission.

The preacher, indicated the necessity for a'l Christians to be actively employed in the work of saving men and women.# The coldness and indifference to this duty on the part of many pWufeSsed Christians was pourtrayed with powerful effect and the address closed with a very earnest appeal to people of all classes to Wring ttios* of their own rank to Christ. Sr. Torr spoke in encouraging terms of the results of the Sunday services, notwithstanding the unfavourable weather /condition*. Special attention was directed to the meeting* on Thursday next for women and girls only in the afterooon, and for men ,a»:3 youths only in the evonlnif, and a cordial Invitation was given to all to attend any of the services in connection with the mission.
