There was agootl proportion ofwethers, and competition, was keen„a ! slight on last week's rates j being obtained. Ewes were well competed for -despite a very keavy entry, and prices fully mainlaiiiied previous sale's rates.- A good proportion was taken for freezing purposes. , Pigs.—The entries wore the largest for a. considerable time. They were mostly unfinished sorts and the sale dragged. Prime tyactmers fetched 42s to 51s, unfinished 32s to 38s (about 3*}d'to 4d per lt>), porkers 25s to 325.(4 d per lb). For storo pigs there was by far the dullest sale experienced this season, there being hardly any demand at all. Large stores fetched from 15s to 235, medium 10s to loSi .small 5s to- 10s.
