EX-MAYOR IN. TROUBLE..
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 15. R. A, Bradbury, fln ex-Mayor of bunmer, was charged at the Magistrate's Court torday with' having intent to defraud on or about Jan. 10, 19CM, procured one James Amos, of Christchurch, to unlawfully set Hie to a bulding, the property of It. A. Green, situated in Manchester Street, Christchurch, which was at the time in tho occupation of T, W Belcher, as a waterproof clothing! factory. A remand \vus granted till Saturday, ball being allowed', accused in £4OO, and two sureties of £2OO each. Two men ore at present in custody in connection with the case which has arisen out of a fire which occurred at 5.30 ono morning in January, 1904. This building was insured for £IOOO ,in tho Phoenix Office, and a floating policy in the Victoria Company,
