(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 13 A list of class books suitable -for use under the new syllabus was. submitted to the Board of Education by the Chief Inspector to^Jay. Several members spoke strongly a-p-insl constant Changes in books. Mr Parr drew special attention to some of the history books at prescin in. use which, he said, were utterly unsuitable for the use of children Bad their future requirements in life. • The Chainnan. said that the introBnction of the new syllabus made pome changes absolutely necessary.
