Mr F. Logan, tho well-known Napier barrister, who went 'Home r#< cently, has l>ecn seriously ill in London. The latest report is that he is recovering. Captain Mitchell, of Mariala 1 , Has just received a King's medal for his services in the South' African war, Mr A. H. McCready, who has been editor of the Taihapo Post for the last two years, is severing his con--1 nection -with that journal to tako up an appointment on the Win ton papier. I - Captain J. Grant, of the s.s. Tasmun, and late of the s.». Takapunn, arrived at Onehunga by tho Rarawa: on Saturday, on a visit to his family.
