A DETERMINED SUICIDE
ASPHYXIATES HIMSELF B* GAS. (Pec Press Association.) DTJNEDIN, Juno 12. Charles Herbert Boydcll, a secondhand dealer in Great King, Street, appears to have "c/jmmitted suicide in a determined manner between! Saturday night and. this He was last seen on Saturday night. This morning his shop was not opened, and about noon a passer-by noticed a, strong smell of gas, and! on the police being informed they, entered by a back window. Boydell was found upstairs undressed and in bed. A piece of tubing ran from a gas jet underneath the bed-clothes, and lay close to his face, the gas bojng turned full on. Deceased., who was 33 years old, and a widower, has a mother living.
