PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr C. J. Lyne, 8.A., late of the Btaff of St. Patrick's College, Wellington, has been appointed master in charge of the secondary department at the Hutt District High School. Mr G. Meadowcroft, of Wellington, President of the New Z/ealand Congregational Union; will next Sunday unveil a tablet which has been placed in the Napier Congregational Church to the memory of the late Rev. H. W. J. Miller. The staff of tho Wellington Evening Post gathered in the editor's room last Friday afternoon to bid' goodbye to Mr A. N. Field, • who, after 1 four years' connection with the liter r |ary staff of that paper, has left for I health reasons..
