There was a fair entry of cattle in ' our Inglewood yards on Wednesday, and bidding was good for all classes. Calves made from. 17s to £1 5s 6d, 15 to 18 months £1 14s 8d to £2 6d, 18 to 20 month mixed £2 6s to £2 7s, spring calvers £2 12s 6d to £8 19s, springers £5, to £7 ss. There was a moderate attendance. Beef showed a recovery in values. Store sheepi did not meet with quite so much irik|ifiry, and fat lambs were about the; same as previous week. Fat sheep.—A fairly heavy yarding, including some very prime lines) of wethers, which sofd at slightly increased rates. Other classes of)' wethers and ewes brought about tho previous week's value. Pigs'.—A medium yarding sold irregularly. Heavy baconers were in better request), and porkers were easier, while there was a dull demand for, stores, jwhlich were mostly simlalll. Light baconers made 35s to 40s, heavier 45s to 56s (equal to BJd toi 4d per lb), porkers 23s to 32s (equal | to 4d to 4Jd per lb), medium stores 1 15s to 22s Sd, slips lis to 14s, waaners 5s to 10s.
