Attempted Assassination.

PLOT AGAINST KING ALPHONSO (Received June 1, 11.20 p.iii.) PARIS, June 1. After midnight President Loubet Bnd King Alphonso of Spain were Coming from the opera, and when passing the Louvre a workman threw a lighted bomb at the carriage. The force of the explosion unhorsed two cuirassiers riding beside the carriage. The President and King escaped scatheless. Fragments killed a horse and injure 1 three policemen, a woman and chijd. AH were conveyed to the hospital. The workman? who threw the bomb was arrested, with two others, supposed to be his confederates in a plot against King Alphonso.
