HOSPITAL ENLARGEMENT.

(Per Press Association.) DIWEDIN, May 31. A largely-attended public meeting Was held in the Town Hall this evening to take steps to raise funds to add a new ward to the hospital. The Mayor presided, and Lord ITimami Kir J. (J. Ward were among those present. The facts of the case in comuclion with the present hospital, which was originally built f> r the exhibition of ,1865, were submittel by the chairman of the hospital tri'slees, Mr Deter Miller, and the chairman of the honorary medical staff. Dr. (!. McDonald, 'file (irst resi'-lulion was moved 'by-Lord Plunket. heartily approving of steps being t:\kin to erect a now medical ward. This was seconded by Mr J. A. Millar, M.H.R., and carried unanimously!. A strong committee was then appointed to take steps to raise the necessary funds. The meeting, was on erfthusiastic and representative one.
