—♦ - TWENTY-FIVE FATALITIES. (Beceived May 30, 11.17 p.m.) SIDNEY, May 30. The steamer Girnmnia, from the Pacific Islands, reports that a hurricane, which devastated the Caroline Islands, burst over the group at Easier, with terrific fury, levelling houses and wrecking the native plantations. The full brunt was felt at . Ponape nnd Kasuie. Twenty natives were kitted at Ponape and five at Kasuie. The storm was the heaviest knoCTi. - The estimated damage is £150,000. Two .wrecks are reported, those of the schooner Utana, ; owtcl by the Jaluit Company, and the schooner Ponape, belonging to the German Government. All hands were saved.
