Lo Temps says that 'after the dispersal of Admiral Hozhdestvcnsky's fleet Russia ought to abandon once and for ail the idea of regaining maritime supremacy during the present war. The French public would have liked Admiral Rozhdestvensky to win, although they can now but wish to set 'the end of a colonial war which is absorbing all Russia's resources.
