HIS CAI'TI UEUS REWARDED. (Per Tress Association.) WELLINGTON, May 30. The amounts paid to Messrs Douglas and Musscy for services rendered in connection with thu capture of Ellis, the Te Awaite murderer, were £IOO and £f>o respectively. Detective Drobcrg received £2f>, and Constables liutlcr and Wilcocks £l2 10s each, and each officer has also been granted an increase of salary.
