MODIFY ITS ACCEPTANCE, (Deceived May 28, 4.46 p.m.) LONDON, May 27. Tho Established Church Assembly at Edinburgh unanimously resolved to apply to Parliament for power to modify the sense In which the Co.tfe>;sion of Faith is accented. Bart Alblrdeeii expressed tho opinion that the proposal might bring the churches closer together.
