The Commercial Commission.

ON RIGHT JUNES. (Keceived May 26, 9.51 p.m.) LONDON, May 26. Mr R. J. Jeßray, recently appointed by the Hoard of Trade to conduct a commercial mission to Australia and New Zealand, sailed by the steamer China. He explained to a mooting of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce that the Board of Trade authorised him to report on the extent business is diverted from the colonies to foreign countries instead of the Motherland, the cause of that diversion, and the means of stopping it.

Mr Barclay, ex-President of the Chamber, stated that the institution believed, the Government was proceeding on the right lines by sending a competent man to inKjluire.
