A draft of steers from the Akeake swamp averaged £lO ss. Sheep.—The Newmarket Yards were well filled on Tuesday, and those penned met with a steady sale nt| late improved prices. Wethers sold from 15s 3d to £1 5s 6d, ewes 13s 9d to £l' Is 9d. Lambs sold from 9a 6d to 14s fid. A draft of 180 wethers from the Waikato averaged £1 4s each. ; Pigs.—Yarded in average numbers.
