Dt'NKDIN, May 18. The officers and crew of the wreck- - cd ship Anjou left to-day by the Waikare for Sydney, a large crowd
mustering on the w : harf to see them off. The Acting Vice-Consul for France hns received a letter signed by the master and first and second
mate, on behalf of the crew, thanking hini for what he has done for them, and expressing gratitude for the kindness of Captain Uollons. who had done everything in his power tt make them comfortable, and asking that their deep sense af Captain Uollon's services be conveyed to the Government. They have no doubt that if they had not discovered th« Government depot some of thrau would not have survived. They also thank the Ship Wreck Relief Society for assistance, and many friends who interested themselves in their behalf.
