APRIL EXPORTS.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 11. During the month of April the produce exported from the colon}- was as follows : —Butter, 12,006cwt, value £54,920 ; cheese, 10,571cwt, £23,513 : beef, 22,951cwt, ££7,80-1 ; mutton, 200,488 carcases, £138.747, and 3703cwt legs and pieces, £5179; lamb, 282,121 carcases, £168,261 ; oats, 7(5,931) bushels, £7,074.; hemp, 2577 tons, £01,440.

There is a considerable increase in the value of meat exported, but a decline in dairy produce compared with the corresponding month of last year.
