(Per Prew Association.) INVEUCAHGIIX, May 7. The now Iloman Catholic Church of St. Mary was dedicated to-day la the presence of a very large congre-galion.-trains bringing many from the country. The ceremonial wan most impressive, those taking part in it being : !>r. Hcdwood, Archllishop of Wellington ; Hr. (Iritncu Hlshop ..( ChriKtchureh ,•> l>r. Verdonl Hishop of llimedin ; Monsignor* MoKay mid u'Uui'j, Dean Uurke, and tho local clergy. Br. Redwood '■reached an eloquent sermon, takhsx for his lext ,Psalm 118, vei* 3. The church, which will neat eleven iiundrod, is a massive brick building cruciform, with a Myzantinc dome <prin»:ng from the centre to a height ■>i 100 ft, which Is quite an Imposing; ex »re of the level landscape.
