DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS.
(Per Press Association.) mjiSEDiN, May 1. In the Divorce Court, in the case of Wilson v. Wilson, the husbands ■ petition for a decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute alter three months. The parlies were married at Lyttelton, and there were si.\ children. About 1899 tilings did not go on well, and the wiie sometimes stayed out at night, returning to the house unexpectedly. One day the husband found a man there, and chased liiui, whereupon the wife cursed him, and left the house within an hour, going to live in the same house as the man referred to. They subsequently left Duuedin, and three years ago the husband had received a letter from Melbourne demanding money. Recently the woman returned and asked to see the children. Iler name was in the passenger list of the steamer which left for Melbourne on Sunday. Corroborative evidence was given by a son. In the case of McMaster v. McMusl- - tho wife's petition, respondent, J as. McMaster, of Mangamahoe, butcher, did not appear. The parties were married in 1876, and the misbehaviour of the husband led to a separation. He agreed to pay £1 per week, but only made one payment, and cleared out. A decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, was granted.
