(Per Press Association.) GtSBORNE, May 1. At the Supreme Court to-day all but two cases on the criminal sido were cleared off, and it was ,s that the civil cases would be reduced to (t.WO. In answer to the charge she sobreplied ''l'm guilty," but afTar consultation with her counsel, tlui chargo was again put, and a pica of "not guilty ' was put in. After half an hour's retirement the jury brought in a verdict of " Not guilty Wi Pahi Korau, an otd offender, was sentenced to three years' Imprisonment for horse-stealing. I Ngati Wairoa was acquitted of theft, and Kani Hone Carr was found guilty. Sentonce was deferred . / Henry (!cori;e Loraax pleaded guilty to obtaining £B7O by false presences, nnti was remanded for sentence. NAPIER, May 1. !
