(Per Press Association.) GIIEYMOUTII, May 1. The Borough election of Councillors on Wednesday resulted in the return of Messrs Coates, Kerr, Zt)terie, Pennent, ShannQ'haiT, Hignell, Shoedy, Morris, and Hart. To-day Cr. Morris resigned owing to a petition being lodged against his return. He was one of the bondsmen of the Town Hall contract,and not entitled to a seat.
