Japanese Lying in Wait. STILL PREPARING. (Received May 1, 9.57 p.m.) LONDON, May 1. General Liuevitch reports that on Saturday night two Russian forces attacking simultaneously, expelled the Japanese from live positions.

The steamer Strethen reports that forty oi the Baltic Fleet were at lloukohe Bay, Annum, on Thursday afternoon preparing to proceed to sea.
