Referring to the rifles, Colonel Collins said the experience of last year's team was that those specially selects Ml by the War Office were quite equal to match rifles, and he felt confident that of the twenty selected to choose from tlie team would have no cause to complain this year, lie taring to expenses, Colonel Collini said last year's return tickets had to t>e taken out at a cost of £OO each -his year he had arranged for single •ickets at £3O, so that a member of the team could select his own route 'or the return. In conclusion he wished Major Hughes and the team good luck, and .rusted they would bo successful in lefending the Kolapore Cup. He lnally urged the team to sink individualism and pull together as ono nan, which was the only road to mccess. Major Hughes briefly replied, cx-ii-essing no anxiety as to the result if the trip, and stated that he had napped out a system for practice, tc., which he hoped would be eflccuul at Home. The team left this afternoon.
